Went to Putrajaya today.. hehehe.... brought my IL to the mosque Putra and Alamanda... guess what.... my SIL and I had to wear the Jubah into the mosque coz our T-Shirt was kinda short.. hehehe.. everyone had a great laugh... but hey we were not the only ones...there were more people... so okaylah.. tak lah malu sangat....
Alamanda.... nothing that is so interesting.. just like other smaller malls we have in town.... but there is this one shop where they mostly sell exortic stuff.... nice to walk in it... practically nothing is worth buying... so expensive.... but hey.. came across the table runner... and fairly priced.. so apa lagi.. beli lah.. heheheh...
didn't spend much time outside.. coz wanna head back to watch AF Prelude and My Team... had to fight with the guys to watch my show... but hey busy in the kitchen preparing dinner... so they had the TV to watch My Team.. and once in a while.. watch the prelude.. arghhhhhh

PIL arrived on yesterday to celebrate my SIL convocation in UITM today, Dip. in Business Studies..... hehehe....work up early morning to prepare some breakfast before going coz we know gonna get hungry there. All set and by 7am, we have left my home. Reached UITM and PIL were directed into the hall. This time, there was a difference. Parents and graduates do not sit in the same hall... i guess the hall is just too small to fit everyone. The vice chansellor mentioned that UITM is the largest uni in Malaysia.. but has the small hall. hehehe... in time to come... maybe they will build a larger one.. more grand.....anyway, waited till the ceremony ended at about close to 12pm.. man.. a tiring wait....since only parents could go in... the rest of us had to sit under the tent.... hmm luckily, its in the morning and not so hot.... anyway.... CONGRATULATIONS NOR AFZAN.....Enjoy the pics.

World Cup Show Jumping 2006

This weekend was a fruitful one..... went to watch the World Cup Show Jumping Finals..... wow.....first time that i have watched a prestigous competition involving the horses. Definitely it will be memorable one.... Futhermore, I have not been horse riding for more than 3 years already.... this is like rekindling my spirits to start again... but hmmmm.......i guess only my hubby will get his chance....  ... but anyhow, seeing my hubby back enjoying his hobby is fair enough...  ..... Oh i forget to say this..... hmmmm the tickets were complimentary of Encik Din... one of our horse riding instructors while i was active in UTM. Thanks a lot Cik Din....
The riders were smart looking, with their attire and the way they rode on the horse was just superb....Most of them managed to clear all the 1.6m high hurdles and proceed to the jump off. WOW!!!!!!! The course was also world class where you see the riders have take an angle jump and also the triple combination......I am speechless when they managed to clear them.... 
All in all I enjoyed my Sunday..... Enjoy the pics!!!!!

Family Retreat at Cameron Highlands
|

My family with 2 other families drove up to Cameron Highlands... just to get away from the busy town sight.... hehehe... it took us about close to 3 hours to get to the hotel. We stayed in Strawberry Park Resort... hmm the room was good, view was good.. but the food moderate... and hotel rate is kinda ex.... comparing its services here and KL hotels.....Driving up gave me a headache... the road was small and winding but it has not beaten the road up to Fraser's hill... hehehehe..... along the way, we manage to see the "orang asli" and how they lived. There was also a waterfall.... latar Iskandar.. but we did not stop to take a dip.... the waterfall was just by the roadside... After settling down at the hotel, we went to eat lunch and then proceed to the Rose garden and then to the strawberry park... wanted to get some flower plants but the weather in KL is not suitable to grow the flowers..... Rather than wasting money... decided not to purchase any... Then we headed for the strawberry park.... Only then i noticed that the strawberry's grown are really cute.... not very sweet though...but the starwberry jam and dried strawberry tasted good. After a day's tour... we bunk in back at the hotel. Stayed indoors and play monopoly with my cousins... hahhahah... the weather was cold out there...... no need for air cond or even a fan.
The next day, on our way back, we dropped by Cameron Tea Valley, to buy some tea home..... the tea plantation was huge. The tea tasted good... and there were other tea flavours as well.... my aunties bought so much back......
That's all about my trip to Cameron.... till then... bye

Trip to Penang
|

Since i was already up north, might as well i visit Penang.. hehehe... went to my friend's mum house in Sg. Tiram.... had laksa Penang... i longed to eat.....had 2 plates... yum yum.....
Penang roads has improved... the flyover from Bayan Lepas to USM is completed.... and the roads are wider.....
Went over to FRC.... but nothing much to buy.. look look.... see see.... heheheh... since nothing else to do in Penang... and most of my Friends who are in Penang are not back yet.. so didn't get a chance to meet up with them... maybe next time.....

Hari Raya in Kedah

Reached Kedah last night... and to late to do any visiting... so today.... start our visiting plans....
hmmm by this time (4th Raya) .. not many people still go visiting here... but no matter what.. we still go.. heheheh.... First was his Aunt's house in Bagan Serai.... then.. it was time to go to another Aunt's house....in Kuala Kurau....

Heading to Kedah - BYE BYE Singapore
|

After spending a week in Singapore (since fasting & Raya) it is time to head back to KL by First Coach ... fetch my car & then drive up to Kedah... my in-laws house... wooooo tiring.... and luckily it is only once a year......
Traffic on the opposite road was bad... ultra slow moving... and it is only Saturday..... can't imagin the traffic on Sunday when everybody heads back to KL to begin work on Monday.... arghhhhh... lucky we were on the reverse traffic...... phew.....
